4-0 Is A Satisfactory Beginning, Day 1 Skandia S F G

It was a great day 1 for Team Maclaren at the 2011 Skandia Sail for Gold regatta.  We had four very good races and came out ahead on all of them to end the day with a 4-0 record.  The breeze was steady in direction with small puffs ranging from 8-11kts.

2011 Skandia Sail For Gold Regatta Begins Tomorrow

Tomorrow, racing begins at the 2011 Skandia Sail for Gold Regatta, the 6th leg of the ISAF Sailing World Cup.  We have been here training with our USSTAG teammates since our previous event finished last weekend. The conditions have been wonderful relative to what we sailed in in Holland.  We sailed hard for four days, had one day off, and had a two hour official regatta practice today. And then the rain came and set in for the day.

Team Maclaren Won Bronze At 2011 Delta Lloyd Regatta

Team Maclaren won the Bronze medal at the
2011 Delta Lloyd Regatta.  We swept the petit-finals 2-0 over Team Wang from China this morning in a shifty, puffy two races.

It was a windy day that turned rainy later on, on day 4 of the Delta Lloyd Regatta. We managed to fit in both the quarter finals and the semi finals, finally getting off the water by 8:15pm.

  Representing the USA, Anna Tunnicliffe won the Gold Medal in the Women's Laser Radial dinghy at the 2008 Olympic Games in Qingdao, China. Anna was the ISAF world's Number One-ranked women's Radial sailor from April 9, 2008 to May 2010.  She was voted 2009 & 2011 ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year.  Now Anna, skipper of Team Maclaren, has teamed up with Molly O'Bryan Vandemoer and Debbie Capozzi to take on the world and go for Gold in 2012 London Olympic Games in Women's Match Racing and the team is currently ranked #1 in the ISAF WMR rankings.
