Sail for Gold: Lots of Wind in Weymouth, GBR, Day 2 PDF  | Print |  E-mail
September 15th, 2009
Weymouth, GBR

We had one very windy race today at the Sail for Gold regatta. They sent us out in a lull of 15-20knt, but as we went into sequence the wind picked up to 25-30knt.  Hair-raisng stuff.

Internet is very intermittent so will write a fuller report tomorrow about today and tomorrow.

Briefly, we did sail our race and won ...exciting race...we got a penalty upwind on the first beat but pulled a sweet move to burn it.  Anyway more details tomorrow.  You can check the results at the regatta website.

I would like to thank Carmeuse for their continued support of my campaign for the 2012 Olympics in London, England.  I would also like to thank USSTAG for their support.

Sail Hard,
