We got on a plane yesterday after racing at the 2011 Buddy Melges Challenge, flew to Atlanta and then up to Rochester. It seems a very-out-of-the-way route, but it was the only way we could get here for today. We woke this morning and headed to Rochester Yacht Club for registration and weigh in. We weighed in first to make sure we made weight as a team, and then headed to breakfast. After we were fueled up, we found our boat and Allan Terhune. Big thanks to him, and North Sails and Maclaren, we were able to get our boat here, and mostly ready to go. We wrapped up registration, grabbed a bite to eat and then headed to our hosts' house. We (Molly, Deb and I) are staying with Patti and Pat, Sam, Nicole, and Bella Leva, and Liz Bower, our fourth, is staying with her parents, Sandy and Kirk Simpson. Thank you to both families for opening their homes to us.

Because of the high winds today we weren't able to go sailing, so tomorrow morning we will get our chance to get out and do a bit of practice before racing starts. Racing is scheduled to start around noon. There are 28 teams registered from multiple countries. There is a deep field of competitors and we are looking forward to getting in the boat and doing some fleet racing.

We would very much like to thank our Title Sponsor, Maclaren, our Gold Level Sponsors 11th Hour Racing and Laser Performance, and our Bronze Level Sponsors Carmeuse, Trinity Yachts, and Chicago Match Race Center for their continued support of our campaign for the 2012 Olympic Games. We would also like to thank US Sailing Team AlphaGraphics (USSTAG) and its sponsors for their continued support. Also, thank you to our private donors. Please remember that any and all donations/contributions to our campaign should be made payable directly to either The Sailing Foundation of New York (tax deductible) memo'd Anna Tunnicliffe, or to Anna Tunnicliffe.

Sail Hard,
